Welcome to the Immanuel's Library/Media Page. In here we wish to convey the enormous collection of many classic and poignant books both for entertainment, and for research into our faith and general inquiry into the nature of God.

Children's books - Biographies - Newbooks - Bold books - Videos (VHS/DVD)

Are you teaching? There are many volumes on books of the Bible which explain passages in depth. Are you concerned with social issues? Some of the best discussions available for Christian witness are on our shelves. Are you reading for pleasure? Fiction books on many topics will bring enjoyment, free from the tawdry themes in much of the current literature. Do you need to know "how-to"? Manuals on child care, comfort for those in grief, family problems, etc., are on hand in our library. Are you careful to "watch, for ye know not the hour when the Son of man cometh"? A good collection of books on end times will point out signs for your watch.

WORLD EVENTS There are several recent books explaining the connection of today?s events with Biblical prophecy, written by familiar names. Our library has a copy of John Hagee?s The Battle for Jerusalem, published early in 2001. While it was too early to cover the September 11th disasters, it helps to understand how those came about and the relationship to God?s plans and purposes.

Many current events throw light on predictions made long ago. We who study the Word can gain understanding from those whose calling leads them to publish their findings for us. This is a great time to use the up-to-date volumes provided by our Church Library. There is much to learn and think about.

WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT ISLAM? There is a lack of knowledge about Muslim beliefs as well as about the Bible and Christian beliefs; however, there is no need to be uncertain about either. Our church library has a wealth of material covering the great issues of our day. When Paul admonished Timothy to "Study to show yourself approved unto God," he was aiming primarily at knowing the Scripture, but Paul also gave much direction about dealing with people.

We plan to increase our Bible study opportunitiesby using a Bible Study program. It wold be wise, in this time of deadly conflict, to become serious students of both the Bible and reliable information about the world. Visit the library and let Carmen help you select what will benefit you most.
