Entering the main vestibule of the church you see the sanctuary and the activity center entryways. On the left is the activity center and on the right is the sanctuary. Heading straight is the welcome or information center where one can be directed to their Sunday School classroom or anywhere else.
The sanctuary of Immanuel provides a warm and spacious atmosphere where the congregation gathers to worship and hear the Word of God delivered by Pastor Don Queen in a traditional Southern Baptist matter. In addition to the spacious main level with a seating capacity for 1,000 and behind the pulpit there is a choir loft for additional seating with room for 100.
Above the main seating area is a balcony where more seating can accommodated including the controlled sound system designed to be easily heard from any part of the sanctuary.
The congregation is blessed with beautiful colored glass windows on both sides of the sanctuary. Behind choir loft and above the church's baptismal, is wonderful contemporary design made of wire in a criss-cross pattern. The design is illuminated by dynamic soft pallet. Beneath this is where the members of the sanctuary choir is seated. The sanctuary is also a favorite place for wedding ceremonies.
From either side of the wire design above the baptismal, the pipes of the church's organ can be seen. Ranked 29, the 70 years old organ was moved from the original sanctuary, refurbished, rebuilt and installed in 1968. It glorious sounds are still resonating today.
